ASA Central Florida conducts invitational and qualifying tournaments in the major disciplines of the sport – fast pitch and slow pitch. Travel teams must earn a berth to an ASA National Championship Finals through a network of qualifying tournaments conducted throughout the season. The ASA champion then goes home as the unchallenged best team in the nation of their respected division.
Qualifying for an ASA National Championship Final begins at the local level with league championships, state championships and national qualifiers. Over 30,000 players qualify to compete in an ASA National Championship. Cities from across the United States annually bid for these celebrated events, largely because of the economic impact they will make on their communities.
